Yesterday, a patrol truck lost control along the Ahafia Road in Abia State during a heavy downpour, injuring several Nigerian soldiers.
The vehicle was descending a slope section of the road when it reportedly slipped off the wet surface and veered off the highway
But instead of driving past some civilians stopped to help these injured soldiers by getting them into vehicles to get them treatment.
The numbers of soldiers affected haven’t been known, but from the videos circulating, it has been confirmed that two soldiers were severely injured.
Netizens have dropped a good remark regarding the actions of these civilians, showing that empathy knows no boundaries irrespective of the individual.
