Ademola Adeleke
Many know him as the governor but Ademola is also a business executive and political gladiator.
Before venturing into mainstream politics, Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke was a businessman who held various executive positions in both Nigeria and the United States. His experience in the private sector provided him with considerable exposure to corporate management and leadership before he eventually entered active politics.

Early Life and Education
Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke began his early education at Methodist Primary School, Surulere, Lagos State. He later attended Nawarudeen Primary School, Ikire, in what was then the Old Oyo State.

He proceeded to Seventh-day Adventist Secondary School, Ede, also in the former Oyo State, before transferring to Ede Muslim Grammar School, Ede, where he completed his secondary education.
After completing his secondary education, Adeleke relocated to the United States of America, where he joined his two elder brothers and continued his studies.
He subsequently attended Jacksonville State University, Alabama, United States, where he studied criminal justice, with a minor in political science.
His educational background became a subject of controversy during his political career, particularly during the period surrounding his 2017 and 2019 political contests in Osun West Senatorial District. Following the controversy surrounding his academic qualifications, Adeleke returned to formal education and subsequently enrolled at an institution in Atlanta, Georgia.

His journey from business to the Senate and eventually to the Osun State governorship represents a remarkable transition from the private sector into public service and electoral politics.
Philanthropy and Political Profile
Following the controversies surrounding his educational qualifications, Ademola Adeleke returned to formal education in the United States. He enrolled at Metropolitan State College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in 2021.
